Some military facilities in Virginia are visible to everyone - the Pentagon, the Norfolk Naval Base, Fort A.P Hill, etc.

For example, the United States is helping to design and construct a facility in Russia to store materials recovered from dismantled nuclear weapons, under the Defense Department’s Cooperative Threat Reduction Program. The US Army Corps of Engineers plays a key role in that project. Within the Corps, the lead organization is the Transatlantic Programs Center (TAC) - and it is headquartered in Winchester, Virginia.
